Eddy Wan
Mr. Wan started his development career in 2013 with the Rodeo Project. Mr. Wan is responsible for a variety of duties including administration, accounting, and principal development and project management of all ground-up construction projects. Additionally, Mr. Wan assists with market research & analysis and deal-closing coordination.
Prior to his development career, Mr. Wan was the President & Chief Operating Officer at Swabplus, Inc., a medical device startup located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. In addition to overseeing the restructuring and turnaround for the company, Mr. Wan managed the company’s financials and was heavily involved in business development and marketing. During his time at Swabplus, he participated in various commercialization efforts, including initiating product re-alignment, scaling the manufacturing capacity on top of leading marketing efforts, and brainstorming product development.
Mr. Wan has over 25 years of management and real estate experience prior to becoming the President of Swapplus, Inc. Mr. Wan oversees, mentor, hire, and manage over 120+ operational personnel. Mr. Wan also oversaw a commercial real estate group with over $300 million of construction and commercial real estate facilities. During his banking career, Mr. Wan was involved in over $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions.
Aside from being the founding principal at Ambitus Partners, Eddy is also an independent director to the Board at Mega Bank, N.A. Mega Bank is a local community bank with approximately $450 million in assets.
Mr. Wan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from Cal State Los Angeles, CA.
Kent Hung
In 2013, Mr. Hung, along with Eddy Wan and Charlie Huang formed the core of what Ambitus Partners is today to capitalize on opportunities in the growing Southern California commercial real estate market. Mr. Hung was responsible for overseeing various aspects of the business platform including acquisitions, financing, deal negotiations, marketing, and sale and disposition. Additionally, Mr.Hung was also responsible for investor relations and fundraising.
Mr. Hung’s expertise comes from more than 20 years as a developer, real estate asset manager, and commercial real estate banker. He previously served as First Vice President at East West Bank, a Los Angeles based bank holding company, where he was responsible for the management, development, and marketing of real estate finance transactions. Over his banking career across East West Bank, Far East National Bank, and Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank, Mr. Hung managed over $500 million in real estate transactions.
Mr. Hung holds a BA in Economics from the University of California at Irvine.
Following the 2008 downturn, Mr. Huang became a realtor with Long Dragon Realty representing high net worth clients purchasing and selling luxury residences and investment properties. In October 2017, Mr. Huang and his partners founded Trigent Realty to continue to scale his clientele and expand into representing small scale developments in the San Gabriel Valley. Under his leadership and alongside his partners, the firm secured future commitments from various well known SGV developers and investors for an aggregation of a single-family rental portfolio.
Mr. Huang was previously an entrepreneur at Sheraton Wedding Studios. His forward-looking approach redefined the way the company seek opportunities to the market, expanding technological capabilities to achieve economic scale in the production of photography and studio albums. In the process, Mr. Huang’s strategic leadership earned the company valuable new business. Prior to Sheraton Studios, Mr. Huang held senior product manager title with a privately backed communication company called Firefly Components in the San Gabriel Valley area.
Mr. Huang holds a BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
